Forestbrook Reserve

If you are looking for a house that offers a slightly more upscale lifestyle, Forestbrook Reserve might just be the neighborhood of your dreams.  The homes in the Reserve are a little larger than the those in Forestbrook Estates and Forestbrook Preserve, just down the road, and are mostly custom built. Featuring vinyl siding or brick exteriors, most of the homes have 5 bedrooms, making them perfect for large families, and offer 2-car garages, covered porches, formal dining rooms, and the most elegant upgrades.

Several builders have contributed to this community and you can find new constructions, well cared for houses that are more than 10 years old, and everything in between. Most homes are priced from $250,000 to around $350,000. More for lakefront properties. Some of the newer constructions are very affordably priced.  HOA fees are minimal.
Students attend Forestbrook Elementary School, Forestbrook Middle Schools, and Socastee High School. A beautiful 12-acre lake and a neighboring nature preserve provide a peaceful backdrop for these houses. Outside of the city limits, property taxes are low, and traffic is light. A lot of the homes have private pools. The landscaped streets and sidewalks add to the community’s curb appeal.

Located off Hwy 501, close to the Outlet Mall, the Reserve is just a short drive to the Grand Strand, with a plethora of great restaurants, shops, boutiques, and fun things to do, including the beaches.

Visit our website to learn more about this amazing community.  Homes here sell fast so you may want to put your name on our mailing list. Call our real estate experts with any questions you may have and be sure to schedule a private tour of Forestbrook Reserve. See for yourself all this charming neighborhood has to offer.

We Can Sell Brunswick County Too!

We have an agent at our Barefoot Resort office that specializes in homes in Calabash NC and other nearby Brunswick County cities, such as Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle. Patti Kielty has been in the real estate business for more than 20 years, and stands out for her hard work and unusual dedication to her clients.

Patti has lived in Calabash, and her family has property in Carolina Shores. She's not only experienced in sales, but also in staging homes, which she likes to do when they are being offered unfurnished.

Last week she listed this beautiful home in The Village at Calabash, and already has a pending contract on the sale - for very nearly the asking price.

We added a new page on the website with Calabash homes for sale, and some information about this pretty little town. If you are looking to buy or sell a home in Brunswick County, Patti is the lady to see for the best service you'll find anywhere. She's also a great photographer, and helped us out with the photos for Calabash as well as some new homes in Little River they are calling the Cape Cod Cottages.

You can find Patti's bio on her page of the website, or feel free to contact her by phone  at (843) 685-6014.

Barefoot Resort Condos

In their desire for the ocean views from a beachfront condo, people often overlook the stunning condo complexes which sit several blocks back from the shore. The condos that sit a little farther from the beach have lower insurance costs and are more protected from hurricanes. Without the continuous assault of the salty sea wind, appliances such as air conditioners last far longer than those directly on the beach.

Surrounding 4 challenging golf courses, the Dye, Norman, Love and Fazio, Barefoot Resort is a delight for avid golfers. Beachcombers will find that during the summer the resort has a shuttle that goes back and forth to the beach and their private cabana with bathrooms and showers.
Yacht Club Villas Condos at Barefoot Resort is a boater’s paradise. The complex overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway and offers a full-service marina and a boat slip can be included with purchase. One of the most exclusive of the Barefoot luxury condo complexes,  the spacious units have all the fabulous upgrades you can imagine and fashionably decorated. Amenities include an onsite restaurant, a fabulous courtyard with an amazing water view, flowing fountains, an outdoor fireplace, with plenty of cozy seating for friends and neighbors to gather. Well placed speakers provide a peaceful background for conversation.

Around the 2300 acres of ponds, lakes, and lush greens of the 4 championship golf courses there is a huge residential community. Of course, there are single family homes, but there are 8 main condo/townhome communities including  River Crossing Townhomes, The Havens, Ironwood Villas, Greenbriar Condos, Woodland Townhomes, Wedgewood Condominiums, Harbour Cove, and Edgewater Townhomes. Most have their own amenities, and all share a Country Club, two clubhouses, and the private beach cabana with the shuttle.
